The Celebrity Black Book 2007: A Review

Celebrityblackbook2007_1_3 Many people want or need to contact a celebrity sometime in their life.

Fans want to send a fan letter or request a free autographed photo. Authors and writers want to get celebrity interviews or celebrity book endorsements. Nonprofits want to request free autographed memorabilia they can then auction off to raise money for their charitable cause. And businesses all want to get their products in the hands of celebrities.

Finally, “The Celebrity Black Book 2007: Over 55,000 Accurate Celebrity Addresses for Fans, Businesses, and Nonprofits” (ISBN 0-9707095-8-7) makes this possible.

“The Celebrity Black Book” is compiled each year by Jordan McAuley. McAuley maintains an exclusive online database containing the personal mailing address, agent, manager, publicist, production company, and charitable cause for over 55,000 celebrities.

His main service, Contact Any Celebrity has helped put fans, authors, nonprofits, and businesses in touch with celebrities worldwide since 1990. Recently, “The Celebrity Black Book” caught the attention of “Library Journal,” the prestigious trade magazine all librarians look to when deciding which books to purchase for their collection. The magazine’s review? “Recommended for all libraries.” – one of the journal’s highest recommendations.

“I started Contact Any Celebrity in 1990 mostly for fans who just wanted an autograph,” says McAuley. Over the past 15 years it has grown into a well-known resource not only for fans but also for authors, nonprofits, and businesses – both small and large.” McAuley says many well-known entertainment companies including movie studios, talent agencies, and publicity firms use his database, which can be accessed online. Every year he pulls the database and creates “The Celebrity Black Book” for those who prefer to use a hard copy resource instead of the online database.

The new 2007 edition contains movie, television, music, and sports stars, as well as politicians, supermodels, talk show hosts, adult film stars, race car drivers, authors and writers, scientists, religious figures, and world leaders…even reality TV stars. “The Celebrity Black Book” contains contact information for more celebrities than any other resource,” says McAuley. Plus all of our addresses are verified by the U.S. Postal Service’s National Change of Address (NCOA) system.” Everyone who purchases a copy of “The Celebrity Black Book” also gets a free month of the Contact Any Celebrity online database and membership Web site. All they have to do is mail or fax in a coupon included with the book.

“The Celebrity Black Book” will be released to the public on January 15, 2007. Readers can order it online or wherever books are sold. “The Celebrity Black Book” is distributed to the trade by Ingram, Baker & Taylor, and Atlas Books at 1-800-BOOKLOG.
