Gift Bag Swag
You don't have to work for Coach or Cartier to get your products in the hands of celebrities.
According to USA Today, here are some of the products that were given to celebrities at this past Sunday's Emmy Awards:
Showtimes Gift House: Marcia Cross ordered a free custom-engraved Delicate Raymond charm necklace ($150-$300), Blythe Danner and Lorraine Bracco accepted Oona Erlich handbags ($250-$550). Neil Patrick Harris took home a pair of Linda Farrow sunglasses ($300).
Kari Feinstein Style Lounge: Leonardo DiCaprio, Jack Osbourne, and Elijah Wood took home Ultimatebet.com poker sets ($200). Jeri Ryan accepted a Boulevard Bag calfskin leather purse ($400).
HBO Luxury Lounge: Helen Mirren, Debra Messing, Lisa Kudrow, and Aida Turturro took home Korite International Ammolite jewelry ($2,000).

Wait, Leonardo DiCaprio was at the Emmy Awards? Why?
Anyway, I had no idea that these lower-end products ($150 or whatever) could make it into the almost-mythical awards show gift bags. That could be a great way for an up-and-coming designer to get PR for his or her products.
